- Hotel and Multifamily: In 2011 CIM was selected for a ground-up development project in Sunset La Cienega, West Hollywood, California with the intention of bridging the high-end retail area on the west side of Sunset Boulevard with the hotels on the east side. CIM built a 286-key hotel and 190-unit multifamily residential tower, as well as a public space with an art installation, views of Los Angeles, and a safe pedestrian connection to bridge the two sides.
- Office Building: In 2013 CIM acquired Central Tower in San Francisco, CA, an iconic 21-story creative office tower with a six-story adjoining annex for ground-floor retail.
- Mixed-Use: In 2017 CIM acquired Turtle Creek Village in Dallas, Texas, a mixed-use office and retail center.
