- Grocery: Slate Asset Management acquired a $390 million portfolio of grocery stores. As reported on their website, “this transaction increases the size of the REIT’s portfolio to an aggregate US $1.8 billion of critical real estate.”
- Office: State Office REIT sold a Toronto office property for $31 million, higher than the original purchase price. The sale will help fund new acquisitions for Slate.
- Grocery: Slate Asset Management acquired a 104,679 square foot Kroger grocery-anchored property in Indianapolis, Indiana for $8.5 million. The also negotiated a 15 year lease with Kroger.
